REC Center Rents to Public
Looking to hang up your car keys? Explore Racine’s Root River banks and riverside scenery! The Root River Environmental Education Community Center offers canoes, kayaks, bikes and other resources available for rent Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Discover the scenic shorelines of Racine as you kayak through the peaceful waters of the Root River. Canoe through nature’s urban environment as you reach the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan.
Canoes, kayaks and bikes are available for rent Thursday and Friday evenings 4-7:30 p.m., Saturday’s 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday’s noon-6 p.m. Proof of identification is required for collateral while you take the equipment out into the water.

Downtown Trolley Route Information
North Beach, the Racine Art Museum, Monument Square, Sugar shack, Ivanhoe’s and City Hall – take the trolley to all your favorite downtown hot spots!
Downtown Racine’s trolley is now open and ready to take you for a ride! Operating every Tuesday through Sunday, the trolley has plenty of room so bring your friends! At only 25 cents per person, the trolley is a great way to see all the exciting attractions downtown Racine has to offer!
One trolley runs Tuesday-Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
