Built in 1880, the Wind Point Lighthouse is the oldest and tallest in operation on Lake Michigan. Fully automated in 1964, the building now serves as a town hall, but the grounds are open to the public.
The tower is open July 1, August 5, September 2, and October 7. Due to the the high demand to see for miles at the top of the lighthouse, reservations are necessary.
